Professor Sarah Phillips, Director of the Russian and Eastern European Institute, will be delivering a featured talk on November 11, 2018 in St Petersburg, Russia: "How effective, bottom-up approaches can produce effective health interventions - Medical Anthropology and the Case of HIV prevention in the Ukraine." This paper is based on the results of her recent, multi-year, collaborative research project, funded by the National Institute for Drug Abuse NIDA.
