Our Anthropology department holds bi-monthly professionalization workshops on Fridays from 1:00-2:00 p.m. during the academic year. The workshops cover a range of topics tailored to the “how-to” of graduate school, job market preparation, and career skills for Anthropology graduate students. The overall goal of the series is to create a continuum of care and career-specific assistance as we transition through various stages of our program and into professional careers - both academic and alt-academic.
The workshops are led by department faculty, alumni, and other campus units with relevant expertise to foster working relationships and support networks with students across sub-disciplines and cohorts, faculty, and alumni. Workshops will be livestreamed so students who are not in Bloomington can still take part.
