We are excited to share that IU Anthropology Alumni Stuart Sones has won the American Anthropological Association of America's (AAA) 2022 Middle East Section (MES) Student Paper Prize!
The award was given for his paper written at IU as an undergraduate: "Conspiracies from the Unseen: Authenticating Islamic Discourse in a Neoliberal Moment.”
His award will be formally announced at the business meeting of the Middle East Section at AAA next month.
Stuart Sones graduated from IU with honors and a B.A. in Anthropology in 2021.
