The department of Spanish and Portuguese, with the help of the departments of Linguistics, Second Language Studies, English, Anthropology, and History, as well as CLACS, International Studies, and the Horizons of Knowledge and International Short-Term Visitors Grants, will be bringing Professor Juan Manuel Hernández-Campoy from the University of Murcia, Spain to visit our campus next week. During that time, he will be giving three plenary talks on both sociolinguistic and historical linguistic topics:
