The Department of Anthropology is excited to welcome two new faculty this Fall and to celebrate a new tenure track promotion!
Welcoming New Anthropology Faculty

Dr. Lucía Isabel Stavig is starting her position as a CRRES Postdoctoral Fellow and Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Indiana University. Prior to this appointment, she was a Penn-Mellon Just Futures Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Erica Cartmill is a new core faculty member with appointments in the Department of Anthropology and the Department of Cognitive Science. She is also affiliated with the Center for the Integrative Study of Animal Behavior (CISAB).
Dr. Jennifer Cullin, a biological anthropologist and human biologist who has served as a lecturer the last two years, began a tenure track position as Assistant Professor this Fall semester.
