Colleen focuses on the evolution of human-nonhuman primate (NHP) interactions with an ethnoprimatological lens. By combining cultural and biological anthropology methods she examines these interactions across sites in both South Africa and Costa Rica, two highly popular wildlife tourism destinations where the occurrence of human-NHP interactions are frequent and often problematic.
