On October 27th, IU Anthropology hosted Amanda Weidman (Professor of Anthropology, Bryn Mawr College) as part of our Bauman Distinguished Lecture Series. The lecture was titled "Economies of Voice and the Performativity of Vocal Acts, or, What the Quakers Taught Me about Playback Singing".
